Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, in Nigeria : project realised !
The new bus has arrived ! it arrived in 2006.
Thanks to you all : primary school pupils, junior and high school students, associations, and individuals, who have contributed to the purchase of a new bus which will enable the population to provide a better education for their children.
New projects :
NIGERIA
St Mary’s Rehabilitation and development Centre, at Ipetu-modu
St Mary’s Rehabilitation Centre Centre founded at Ipetu Modu
in 1988 by the DHS.
Objective : Build and equip workshops in 2008 to enable 20 handicapped Nigerians to develop their skills : making candles, bars of soap, cloth dyeing, learning how to use the material. Take the means to ensure autonomy and independence.
The project requires : Physiotherapy service in link with local associations – Psychiatric services to control the hyperactivity of the young and lessen their frustrations – Learning the techniques of technology – Means to provide a basic primary education..
We need a sponsor to welcome the handicapped, ensure the palliative care, purchase material and equipment
The monthly cost per child : 16000 Nairas or 100 euros.

The four sisters carry on their mission, being present either in the kindergarten, the healthcare centre, or in the library which they are setting up for young people and adults ; they are also present to the young whom they give French and English lessons to … without omitting to mention the parish activities : the choir, the choir boys and girls. They are not short of occupations and say they are happy to be in this village rapidly evolving as a result of the entry of Romania into the European Union.
