- On the 1st of August 2007, the animation of the vice-province of Nigeria was handed over to a new leadership team composed of only Nigerian sisters. From now on, the vice-provincial is Nigerian, as were already the bursar and the mistresses of formation -postulancy and novitiate-.
We are grateful to the General Bursar for having contributed to helping us acquire competence in economic management and we thank God for the sisterly welcome and support granted us on particular occasions.
- The vice-province has celebrated the fortieth anniversary of our mission in Nigeria. A book “Ise Oluwa”, written by Sister Veronica Hanrahan and a cassette produced by the sisters were published to mark the event. Sister Veronica’s Golden Jubilee of her religious commitment was a memorable sign of God’s presence in our mission.
 - We have received gifts of lands for expansion of our mission in other areas. Some of our educational institutions have celebrated their tenth anniversaries portraying the different activities carried out in line with the culture and charism of the Congregation.
Some Nigerian sisters have been missioned to other units of the Congregation : Cameroon, Burkina Faso, France.
- For the first time in the history of the vice-province, the vice-provincial councils of Cameroon-Burkina Faso and Nigeria met at Ilesa in 2005 to share in their mission and their dreams for the future mission in Africa. This gave birth to the successful meeting of the finally professed African sisters in Ilsha, in August 2007. Since then, there has been an increase in the exchange of sisters and novices between the two vice-provinces.
- The first six Associates made their commitment at Pentecost 2007.
