From one church to another
 There the church bells rang out, here the smoke of incense arose, a candle was burned, sometimes a voice echoed:
"Lord, open my lips,
- and my mouth will declare your praise!"
Thus from one church to another in "La Baie" -a region of Saint-Brieuc, France-, 40 to 50 persons gathered each Wednesday of Lent at 6 PM. Yffiniac, Trégeux, Hillion, Langueux, Plédran : they are all remembered by the "pilgrims" who may remember a psalm of God's invited or a psalm of supplication, of praise or thanksgiving…so many expressions of these psalms which became theirs. "The psalms are beautiful", exclaimed a participant who would not have wanted to miss a single rendez-vous. "They lead you to within", says another for who the time seemed too short! By the fifth week of Lent the harmony was more adjusted, one choir responding better to the other choir. Harmony, peace, a beautiful living prayer. Happiness! At the end of this happening, there are already other wishes being heard…
Visiting each other's churches to pray together the "Liturgy of the Hours", the Office, that is the daily prayer of the universal Church can perhaps help bring about, with other efforts, the reality of being "a pastoral community."
A cordial thanks to the priests of "La Baie" who accepted this proposal and established a calendar for implementing it. A deep gratitude also to all those committed laypeople who know how to welcome the various hope which help move forward together on the path of faith.
