The palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Samuel Ojugbele, the Onilogbo of Ilogbo, was the venue for this remarkable event &#8211; the conferment of the chieftaincy title \u201cErelu-Ewe of Ilogbo\u201d <em>UPON REVEREND SISTER ROSEMARY ASUQUO ETIM,<\/em> DHS, a Catholic nun, and a dedicated educator.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rev. Sr. Rosemary Etim, a member of the Congregation of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit (DHS), currently serves as the Principal of \u2018Marie Balavenne\u2019 Catholic College, located in the heart of Ilogbo. Her elevation to the traditional title of Erelu-Ewe, which translates as <em>\u201cMother of the Children,\u201d <\/em>is in recognition of her immense contributions to the educational and social development of the community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his remarks, Oba Ojugbele, the King of Ilogbo praised Sr. Rosemary\u2019s consistent commitment to community service and human capital development. Among her many initiatives are the organization of educational and empowerment seminars for young girls, annual road grading projects, and her most recent endeavor \u2014 the provision of free medical outreach services to residents of Ilogbo.<br \/>The medical outreach, organized in partnership with the Rotary Club of Nigeria, offered a wide range of services including malaria tests and treatment, blood pressure monitoring, HIV and hepatitis screening, eye examinations, and the distribution of mosquito nets, eyeglasses, toiletries and other essentials. The program impacted hundreds of beneficiaries \u2014 children, youths, adults, and the elderly \u2014 across different religious and cultural backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The coronation ceremony was attended by prominent chiefs of Ilogbo, members of the DHS including Rev. Sr Anthonia AYENI (DHS Vice provincial, Nigeria), priests and parishioners of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church, staff of Marie Balavenne Catholic College and Holy Spirit Nursery and Primary School, family members, friends, and a host of well-wishers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In her vote of thanks, Sr. Rosemary expressed deep gratitude to the monarch, the traditional council, her religious community, colleagues, family, and all attendees. She acknowledged the collective support that made her achievements possible and lauded the peaceful and cooperative relationship between the local community and the school.
