It was on May 11… Invited by Sister Fran\u00e7oise BEAUMONT, provincial, about 90 people met at the Mother-House -Saint-Brieuc, FRANCE-, in order to prepare for the next provincial chapter. For the “Family of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit” – Sisters, Consecrated Lay People, Associates – a chance to meet! <\/strong><\/p>\n Have a great day of conviviality!<\/em><\/strong> Three good times to meet at the “Marie Balavenne” room where bursts of gratitude burst out in joy: Sisters from different types of communities who have not seen each other for a long time, Consecrated laywomen whom many see for the first time, and Associates who are more or less used to the house.<\/p>\n Day when prayer to the Holy Spirit brings us back to the Source of our commitments.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Beautiful day of reflection<\/em><\/strong> on the history of our Congregation. Admirably guided by Sister Anne Marie FOUCHER -and in the space of the chapel more suitable for a better hearing-, we have seen how, over the centuries, an unexpected novelty has emerged from moments of crisis… What will happen to the decline that we are experiencing today in the countries of the North? Transplanted on the lands of the South, our charism has already germinated well and are not the shoots called to grow and bloom?… The biblical light given by Anne-Marie can only support our hope: indeed, whether in the psalms or in the stories of resurrection, of destabilization or disorientation experienced in moments of anguish, a time is always emerging in which life benefits from an entirely new direction, animated by the conviction that God is present in human history. So it is with Mary Magdalene (Jn 20, 11-18)<\/span>: directed, by night, towards the search for the body of her friend laid in the tomb, disoriented before this “empty tomb”, here a voice, that a call turns her and redirects her to her brothers…<\/p>\n Excited by this “reading”, we could only go back to our mission fields after discussing with each other ways to “choose life”!
