In the joy of the Holy Spirit, on July 1, 2026, a Mass of thanksgiving was celebrated for the six years of Sister Ang\u00e8le HARANGA SILIKAM at the service of her sisters in the vice-province of CAMEROON and the Church, with “transfer of service” between herself and the new vice-provincial, Sister MAMMA Catherine<\/strong><\/p>\n The Eucharistic celebration, in the chapel of the Vice Provincial House of Galdima-Maroua, was presided by Mgr. Christophe IDRISSA, Vicar General of the Diocese of Maroua-Mokolo. In his homily, from the biblical texts chosen for the occasion – Ephesians 4:1-7 and Jn 13:1-15 –<\/span> he insisted on the meaning of authority which is a service following Jesus, the humble Servant. He invited us, in the footsteps of Christ, to “wash one another\u2019s feet”.\u00a0 After the homily, Sister Ang\u00e8le HARANGA SILIKAM, Vice-Provincial, took the floor to thank God for the six years she spent in service to her sisters and to the Church. She expressed her gratitude and appreciation to all her sisters, the lay associates of the Vice-Province, the Superior General and her advisors, the team of the General Treasurer and her brothers and sisters in the Church for fraternity, communion, trust, the accompaniments, the various supports, and to have assumed with her the common mission.<\/p>\n “Related to those that God has associated with us.” Each sister is <\/em>“a solid link to continue building together houses of charity and the common mission.” Each of the sisters is a building stone where her name is engraved and has value\/quality as construction materials, with talents and gifts to build our Vice-Province, our Congregation, the Church and society. Through these different symbols of stones and the chain, we have renewed our commitment to carry out, with the new team, the common mission for the edification of our Vice-Province and the Congregation.<\/p>\n The new vice-provincial and her advisors were blessed by the celebrant while entrusting their mission to Jesus, Master of the mission. Then Sister Catherine MAMMA and the celebrant signed the register, thus materializing the passing of the service of God and the mission. The new team was welcomed by all the sisters and associates, with a song to the Holy Spirit.\u00a0 Then Sister Catherine took the floor to express her gratitude to Sister Ang\u00e8le for the 6 years spent in the service of the vice-province in simplicity, humility, with determination and dedication. She also entrusted her mission to God who is its Master.<\/p>\n In conclusion, the lay-associates and the DHS thanked Sister Ang\u00e8le SILIKAM for her service rendered with dedication and courage as well as Sister Catherine MAMMA and her counselors for their availability.\u00a0 The Eucharistic celebration ended with joy and thanks to the spirit at work.<\/p>\n Sister Christine MAIDOKLE, DHS community of Touroua – Cameroon<\/em><\/strong>. Elle a exprim\u00e9 sa reconnaissance et sa gratitude \u00e0 toutes ses s\u0153urs, aux la\u00efcs-associ\u00e9s de la Vice-province, \u00e0 la Sup\u00e9rieure g\u00e9n\u00e9rale et ses conseill\u00e8res, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe de l\u2019\u00e9conomat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et \u00e0 ses fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs en \u00c9glise pour la fraternit\u00e9, la communion, la confiance, les accompagnements, les divers soutiens et d\u2019avoir assum\u00e9 avec elle la mission commune.<\/p> \u00ab Li\u00e9es \u00e0 celles que Dieu nous a associ\u00e9es\u00a0\u00bb. <\/em>Chaque s\u0153ur est \u00ab\u00a0un maillon solide pour continuer \u00e0 b\u00e2tir ensemble des maisons de charit\u00e9 et la mission commune.\u00a0\u00bb <\/em>Chacune des s\u0153urs est une pierre de construction o\u00f9 son nom y est grav\u00e9 et a valeur\/qualit\u00e9 comme mat\u00e9riaux de construction, avec talents et dons pour construire notre Vice-province, notre Congr\u00e9gation, l\u2019\u00c9glise et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/em> A travers ces diff\u00e9rents symboles de pierres et de la cha\u00eene, nous avons renouvel\u00e9 notre engagement de porter, avec la nouvelle \u00e9quipe, la mission commune pour l\u2019\u00e9dification de notre Vice-province et de la Congr\u00e9gation.<\/p> La nouvelle vice-provinciale et ses conseill\u00e8res ont \u00e9t\u00e9 b\u00e9nies par le c\u00e9l\u00e9brant tout en confiant leur mission \u00e0 J\u00e9sus, Ma\u00eetre de la mission. Ensuite s\u0153ur Catherine MAMMA et le c\u00e9l\u00e9brant ont sign\u00e9 le registre mat\u00e9rialisant ainsi la passation du service de Dieu et de la mission. La nouvelle \u00e9quipe a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueillie par toutes les s\u0153urs et les associ\u00e9s, par un chant \u00e0 l\u2019Esprit-Saint. \u00a0Puis s\u0153ur Catherine a pris la parole pour exprimer sa reconnaissance \u00e0 s\u0153ur Ang\u00e8le des 6 ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es au service de la vice-province dans la simplicit\u00e9, l\u2019humilit\u00e9, avec d\u00e9termination et d\u00e9vouement.
