After this time of reflection we exchange news and listen to the reading of an interesting page of a magazine, or we continue reading a book. This time of fraternity is precious and greatly appreciated by the participants.
On Sundays, songbooks are released and old repertoires are welcome! Le temps des cerises, Ma cabane au Canada, and other period songs bring back old people and often good memories! It\u2019s also the time to enhance this friendly time with a funny story or to work the brain by asking riddles.<\/p>\n
During Sunday mass, we transmit parish information. Most of the residents are from Briouze and the surrounding area and are therefore very interested in everything related to the life of our parish. And, of course, we do not fail to wish holidays and birthdays and the interested parties are very sensitive to it.
We are lucky to be able to participate in the early Sunday Mass every Friday and we prepare it with care. The staff is very attentive and makes sure that all those who wish can be present.<\/p>\n

With our community of the rue des Joncherets, it is the prayer of Vespers that brings us together.\u00a3<\/strong><\/h5>
Like all religious communities, monasteries, priests and many lay people, we sing where we say this prayer of the Church composed of psalms that our ancestors in the Faith have sung long before us and with which Christ himself prayed.
One might think that these texts, so old, are \"outdated\" and yet they often turn out to be of a burning relevance and find an echo in what we live. Whether it is a question of distress, anguish, trials or, on the contrary, moments of joy, happiness, even elation, the psalms are very good in translating what we can feel.
Moreover, the prayer of intercession that composes it offers an opportunity to pray for the great intentions of the world and the Church; in addition to those proposed to us, we update our requests according to current events and the intentions entrusted to us.\u00a3This is how our \"small church cell\" joins the great family of Christians. We are happy to unite with all for the \"service of praise\". Of course, the voices are sometimes a bit hesitant, even discordant but the fervor with which we praise and beg more than makes up for the few wrong notes or imperfections!
We end by singing the canticle to St. Joseph, patron saint of our parish. Then we say about ten rosaries, this prayer very familiar to people of this generation.<\/h5>
