Como seguidores de Cristo de todo el mundo, compartimos una llamada com\u00fan a cuidar de la creaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Se trata de un tiempo ecum\u00e9nico iniciado por el Patriarca ortodoxo Dimitri en 1989, adoptado despu\u00e9s por las dem\u00e1s iglesias cristianas y reconocido oficialmente por el Papa Francisco para la Iglesia cat\u00f3lica en 2015.<\/p>\n
El lema del Tiempo para la Creaci\u00f3n 2023 es \u00abQue se extiendan la justicia y la paz\u00bb. El s\u00edmbolo es un \u00abr\u00edo caudaloso\u00bb, que simboliza la propagaci\u00f3n de la justicia y la paz. <\/strong>La urgencia es cada vez mayor, y necesitamos hacer visible la paz con la Tierra y en la Tierra, al mismo tiempo que la justicia nos llama a arrepentirnos, a cambiar de actitud y a actuar de forma diferente. <\/strong>Confiamos en la obra de Dios al tiempo que reconocemos que podemos participar en la voluntad divina de justicia y paz. En este Tiempo para la Creaci\u00f3n, caminemos juntos en comuni\u00f3n, como pueblo de Dios, para difundir la justicia y la paz.<\/p>\n

<\/strong>As the urgency grows, we need to make visible peace with the Earth and on the Earth, while justice calls us to repent, change our attitudes and act differently. As we join the river of justice and peace with others, hope is born instead of despair. Rivers can spring up in the desert. An economy of peace can be built instead of one based on conflict.<\/p>
<\/strong>Our individual actions during Season of Creation are important. Celebrating creation, participating in clean-ups, planting trees and reducing our carbon footprint are just some of the actions we can take. Together we can be a powerful river of justice and peace that brings new life to the Earth and to future generations, a river that can move the mountains of injustice.<\/p>
<\/strong>We trust in God's work, while recognizing that we can participate in God's will for justice and peace. On the occasion of this Season of Creation, let us journey together in communion, as God's people, to spread justice and peace.<\/p>
