The camp of the DHS Aspirants in Cameroon took place on 10-13 April 2017, bringing together thirteen young girls from Maroua-Mokolo and Yagoua dioceses, accompanied by five Sisters... The basic sharing with the aspirants and theme of the session was “Marie Balavenne, foundress of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit”.

  • The Washington Women’s Walk

On Saturday, January 21st the whole world seemed to rally under a united banner to advance the cause of justice and to protect basic human/women’s rights. Marches in Paris, London, Sidney, etc., underscored the seriousness of this purpose and the involvement of millions of people around the globe.

  • Echoes from Mbang

A few echoes from Mbang, a village situated in the eastern region of Cameroon...

  • "Emmanuel, God with us…"

This was the 5th time -an event which takes place every second year- that the local pastoral youth movement around Ploërmel, at the very heart of Brittany, France, enacted a living Christmas crib. This year, it was on Saturday 10 December at Loyat… as at Bethlehem 2000 years ago. Lots of people answered to the invitation: the church was crowded with 500 people or so!

  • Permanent diaconate ordination

I have been privileged to be a member of the team who accompanied Noël up to his ordination as a permanent deacon, and his wife Liliane.

  • "Righteous among the Nations"

On Sunday 25 September 2016, the Daughters of the Holy Spirit were invited by the town council of Le Cellier, a town situated to the West of France, not far from Nantes, to take part in an impressive celebration: a representative of the Israeli Embassy was to award the Medal and Certificate of honor -the highest distinction used by the State of Israel- to four members of a local family, three of them posthumously.
