The novitiate community as citizens of this beloved country joined the millions of others citizens to celebrate the 58th Anniversary today by chanting the national anthem and reciting the national pledge.

  • The Congress of Ages and Ageing

    At the Nursing Home of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit, in Saint Brieuc, France, where I have been a resident since 2004, I am involved with a group called "CITOYENNAGE"(citizenage), It is a group where the elderly express themselves and professionals listen. The group exists in our Nursing Home since 2013. At the beginning of this year 2018, during our meeting with other institutions, the director told us about the Congress of Ages and Ageing – "Changing our perception and acting on a daily basis"...

  • 30 years in the service of the Congrégation

    On the 15th of September 2018 was held, at the generalate of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit in Rennes, France, a beautiful party: Agnés Rozé was celebrated for her 30 years of service with the Congregation as a technical and communications secretary.

  • Cameroon : vocational camp.

    Helping the youth give meaning to their life, has become a strong pastoral approach in the heart of the Church... It is in this sense that the chaplaincy of the youth of Doukoula organized, from the 24th to the 26th of August 2018, in the parish of “Notre Dame des Lumières” (Our Lady of the Lights) of Touloum, a vocational camp having for subject of reflexion: "Speak, for your servant is listening" (1 Sam 3,10).

    As always, the Daughters of the Holy Spirit from the vice-province of Cameroon took their weekend of reflexion and annual homecoming, from the 21st to the 23th of September, 2018 in Garoua - Cameroon.The reflexion developed was on the following topic: "Together for a true yes following the Christ in an international spiritual family"...

  • Huaura-Cajamarca: what a delightful encounter.

    The day of departure had arrived! We , from the international community of Huaura, Peru, were expected in Cajamarca by the associates -Lastenia, Fredes, Esther and Blanca- who unfortunatly won't be able to participate in the gatherings of December 8th and of Pentecost because of the geographical distance. Overnight trip by bus: 735 kms - 12h42. Furthermore Cajamarca is at 2,750 m above sea level!

  • 25 Years of God’s faithfulness and love.

    The silver Jubilee Celebration of our three sisters Priscilla Madumere, Sister Anthonia Ayeni and Sister. Mary Abodunrin began on the 7th of September, 2018, the eve of the celebration. Gathered together for this great occasion were the Daughters of the Holy Spirit family, sisters from other religious congregations, families of the celebrants, friends, parishioners and well-wishers.

  • Burkina Faso

    Ø Project: To install a submerged solar pump in view of providing drinkable water to the benefit of the inhabitants of the sector. Ø Cost of the project: 6,250 €

  • Nigeria

    To create a solidarity fund to help with the cost of schooling and the purchase of school supplies or books : 4850 €

  • Cameroon

    Ø Project: - To complete the construction of a building containing three classrooms at the Formation Centre. - To acquire the necessary equipment for formation: tables, benches, chairs, cabinets, sewing machines, cooking utensils… Ø Cost of the project: 11,300 €

    Ø Project: To continue what was begun in 2017, financing the education of young, disadvantaged students for the 2018 school year. To help buy uniforms, books and school supplies for these students. Ø Cost of the project: 2,000 €
