With "Marin»": complicity….

Since April, Marin, a two years old golden retriever, has been delighting the residents of the DHS nursing home of Saint Brieuc, France. And for good reason: the dog, by his presence, brings smiles and cheerfulness within the structure.

Thursday afternoon June 14th, the mischievous Marin was officially introduced into the residence. Isabelle, who raised the dog for nearly 18 months, handed the baton to Audrey and Nathalie, health care aides who are now taking care of the animal alternately every two-weeks. "The dog will be present with them during their working hours. In the evening, Marin goes home to one or the other, explains the Director. His presence is very beneficial: some residents open up because Marin comes to visit them in their room and thus promotes healing, he also allows to ease the care of the residents. Fun activities are offered in the afternoon to build up a close friendship between the animal and the residents."  Published in the newspape "Ouest-France" of June 16th, 2018.

Echoe of a resident: "As soon as he arrived, he headed towards us and went to cuddle into the crook of the arms of one among us. He soon found himself at home, walking quietly within the facility depending of his schedule. He shows an incredible intuition like approaching people who have more than others health concerns".
