Every journey begins with a hidden guide: the Spirit-6aint shapes the paths we follow.
On August 27, 2026, we: AGWU Jecinta, BASSEY Veronica, OLAJIDE Anthonia and YOHANNA Felicia, were received as novices in the Congregation of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit. The reception took place in the FSE novitiate chapel of the vice-province of Nigeria, in Ido, Ibadan, capital of Oyo State. With hearts full of gratitude, we thank God for giving us the privilege to begin the novitiate, a new stage of formation.
We sincerely thank our superior general, Sister Ann ALMODOVAR and her council, Sr. Cynthia AZUGHARA and her council of the Vice-Province of Nigeria, as well as all the sisters, for their prayers so that we may respond to this love of God in our search for his call.
By beginning this new path, we wish to become docile to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit who will transform us little by little through our openness to formation. We wish to make ourselves available to follow the will of God by deepening our relationship with Christ in prayers, meditations and other spiritual exercises.
We entrust ourselves to Mary Immaculate who will lead us to our Lord Jesus Christ, the Author of our lives.
