On May 12, a beautiful fraternal meeting was held at the Ker-Anna/Lann Eol Retirement Home Community of Sainte-Anne d’Auray, in Brittany, FRANCE, as part of the preparation of the next provincial chapter of the congregation of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit. On this occasion, the members of the Provincial Council came to visit us, allowing everyone to live a rich time of listening, reflection and sharing.
Nearly 70 people were gathered: sisters, consecrated lay persons, associates and community coordinators, in a beautiful diversity and a spirit of communion. And what a joy for many to join us via Visio!
The day was animated by Sister Anne-Marie FOUCHER, who accompanied us through two particularly appreciated interventions, both in the morning and in the afternoon. His words enlightened us and reassured us about the stages that the congregation is currently going through: orientation, disorientation and reorientation. These moments of reflection allowed everyone to better understand the current challenges and to look to the future with confidence and hope.
The participants met in small groups to deepen the topics discussed. The exchanges were rich and sincere, before a pooling of thoughts that allowed everyone to share their ideas and feelings.
The meeting was also marked at noon by a convivial moment, around a shared picnic, promoting fraternal exchanges and the joy of being together.
This day at Sainte-Anne d’Auray will remain a beautiful time of encounter, reflection and hope to continue to move forward together in the mission of the congregation.
