Delegation assembly in Lima

From 25 January to 1 February, we took part in our Delegation’s assembly in Lima, thanking the Lord for the enriching and comforting presence of our Superior General, Sister Ann Almodovar, and her Councillor, Olga Kiendrebeogo.  Sister Kenya, our delegate, opened the meeting with a word of welcome, inviting us to open our hearts to welcome the grace of the Holy Spirit in each and every one of us.

Little by little, we developed these subjects: how we arrived in Peru, Chile, what we carry in our hearts, our different missions, the reality of our delegation and its future. We were very happy to return after the pandemic, in better health and full of enthusiasm! We give thanks for the health of each of us and for what we are doing to keep the charism of the Congregation alive in Latin America. We are only a few sisters, but the Holy Spirit is with us and is working in each of us, in his Church and in this world! We have taken pages 89 to 96 from the book “BOUQUET DE LA MISSION” by Jean Leuduger. The Holy Spirit is everything to us and acts in various ways in our lives; our body is his temple, animated by his impulsive grace to love, adore and serve. Without his grace, we can do nothing. We would like to thank all those who contributed to the writing and translation, into Spanish, of the book “Jean Leuduger. Missionnaire apostolique”.

Our assembly ended with a celebration, with a farewell to Sister Hélène Josse for her 33 years of service in Peru and Chile, and thanksgiving for the sisters who are celebrating 20 and 25 years of consecration to the Lord for his Mission.
It was a time of meeting, sharing, joy and farewell.
