From 26 August to 5 September 2025, the General Moderator of the Secular Branch, Daughters of the Holy Spirit, Christiane Rannou, met with the two Regional Moderators – from France, Giovanna Commissione, and from the Americas region (Chile, Peru and the United States), Phyllis Viens, to assess the current situation of the Branch and develop plans for its continued growth..
The meeting was held in Putnam, USA. and allowed time and opportunity for small group sessions, large group gatherings, visits with members in their homes and with the folks with whom they associate on a regular basis. There were also daily outings to tourist sites and/or restaurants that offrered our European participants the chance to increase their knowledge of the American way of life, customs and weather in New England. All in all there was very little down time and a quick eval of the two weeks revealed that all participants were satisfied with the discussions,the sharing and the possibilities for future expansion on the three continents.
The photos are a good thumbnail of some of the activities included in the moderators’ itinerary including an assembly with a good number of DHS Family members that featured the visit of the Congregation Leder, Sr. Anne Almodovar who happened to be in the area at that time as well.
