Environmental education

On Saturday, March 11, with the help of the promoters of the parish, we had the joy of carrying out an environmental education with the children of a semi-rural environment, of Santa-Rosa, Peru.

Each promoter brought from her home 4 or 5 plants, soil, cut plastic bottles and recycled them to serve as pots for the plants. We gathered everything to achieve our goals.  We thought that an awareness given to children -who are our future- would allow them to acquire the knowledge to appreciate the intrinsic value of nature: its environmental, cultural, educational, health and leisure benefits. May these children establish a harmonious relationship with the environment against pollution, the unbridled waste of water, electricity…, and thus recover, sow, maintain! The respect of the nature and of all that, through it, allows us to live, begins in the educational environments, our houses, and the children can help their parents and their entourage to have a healthy and green environment.
We ended our awareness in the park where adults offer plants and help to plant them.

A very pleasant afternoon spent together in the awakening of the children to the protection of our planet earth, an awakening that will continue to grow here in Santa Rosa and elsewhere.
