It was a day of recollection, friendship, love in Santiago de CHILE, with a willingness to help each other…
Our conversation was about: “Which doors have we closed and what fear has troubled us? ” After reflection on the Gospel, in John 20:19, we understood that the apostles were also afraid… But then Jesus appeared to them, bringing joy; he breathed on them and the Holy Spirit gave them peace. Then Christ sent them!
It was for us a call to open our hearts to inner peace and thus to be able to pray, to be present, to be at the service of others, to forgive, to respect… The Holy Spirit leads us in faith and strengthens hope.
We ended our meeting with a symbol: a red ribbon attached to our left wrist, the side of the heart where the purest feelings are born that symbolizes the color of fire. We are a community where everyone is an important element to communicate this fire in the life of the group.
We renewed our alliances -members of the Secular Branch, associates of La Pintana and Conchalí and Sister Isabel Larrondo-, and we read the letter from Sr. Ann ALMODOVAR, Superior General of the congregation and her Council: a moment of reflection and great emotion.
We ended the meeting by sharing a cake, enriched with the peace and joy that filled our hearts.
