What happiness on this morning of February 27 in CAMEROON: the novitiate received a bus capable of containing all its members! Although we had been informed that our request for a means of travel more suited to our number would be granted, we did not expect to see it so soon!
A sharp, unusual horn sounded made the whole community appear in the courtyard of the novitiate and cries of joy filled the entire space! After a time of external admiration, we entered inside to notice the 15 well-ventilated seats! We could be fully happy with this donation, because this bus will put an end to the difficult and stressful movements of a small five-seater car that could not accommodate all the members of the community: 3 sisters and 10 novices: for the different celebrations of the diocese or the inter-noviciates, we were putting 8 people in the car and the others were taking the public motorcycles… This bus will eliminate the difficulties encountered during our travels!
Our sincere gratitude to the whole Congregation who contributed, in one way or another, to obtaining this bus and more precisely to the Superior General, Sister Ann ALMODOVAR and her council, in this response to our request. Our gratitude for this magnificent gift also goes to the vice-provincial of Cameroon, SILIKAM HARANGA Angèle and her council who supported us a lot in this process. We also thank the sisters of the community and the senior novices who saw this need and took the initiative to express it.
May the Lord reward your efforts a hundredfold, may the Holy Spirit continue to enlighten each one in their mission and may God bless our Congregation. Amen!
Barka! Soko! Thanks! Thank you so much.
The novices of the first year:
Alphonsine, Félicité, Charlène, Emilienne, Myriam and Irène.
